We will begin with a shorter walk to review plants covered on Day 1. Back in the workshop\, you’ll learn the more intricate twining technique and begin creating your own unique basket using foraged invasive grasses and other plant materials. We’ll also include a demonstration on how to make a simple hand broom using foraged materials. \nThis workshop offers a hands-on introduction to working with wild plants and finer basketry work. Take this as a standalone workshop\, or pair it with Day 1 to deepen your skills. \nFull Weekend Description for Day 1 & 2: \nJoin us for a two-day\, hands-on experience of identifying\, foraging\, and transforming common invasive grasses and other plants into beautiful and functional objects using essential basketry techniques. She graduated from a two-year program at the California School of Herbal Studies as well as continued her education in Botanical Skin Care Formulation\, Holistic Approaches to Skin\, Product Formulation & Development\, and Cosmetic Chemistry. She also holds a BA in Communication from UC Davis. Currently\, she is completing her Integrative Nutritional Health Coach Certification through IIN.
