DESCRIPTION:Please join us for a virtual conversation with Gabriel-Bello Lawrence-Diaz and Dominique Drakeford discussing how race and equality should always be a part of our sustainability conversation. \nDominique Drakesford is a sustainability educator and environmental justice advocate who has worked with Fibershed and Conscious Chatter as well as helping to advise and promote many brands. She works at the intersections of sustainability and style to heal our relationship to the Earth and spark equitable change for economic wellbeing. Gabriel is a Puerto Rican artist who holds several degrees in architecture and design\, including a Masters in Sustainability and Design from the University of East London. He’s worked in the Federal Way Public Schools teaching as well as with a variety of local nonprofits working on large-scale community art projects.
