Fibershed Heartland

Our Mission: Promoting local, earth-friendly fibers and fabrics

Fibershed Heartland welcomes fiber farmers, textile makers, clothing designers, artists, spinners, weavers, sewers, knitters, filters, crafters, dyers, tanners, mills, shops, consumers and fiber events. We imagine a future where our clothing and textiles are designed and made here in the Heartland using local wool, flax/linen, leather and hemp.

We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit managed by a volunteer Board of Directors with donations and grants providing money for event expenses. Membership (over 200 and growing) is open to all. This dynamic, networking FIBERCULTURE benefits the environment, economy and community.
