Fibershed’s Spring Market focus is on natural dyes. Join us at the Fibershed Learning Center, stroll through the natural dye garden and purchase your own dye plants from Fibershed’s plant producers. Learn how to use natural dyes during free natural dye demos and shop for dyeable fiber and yarns from local Fibershed producers.
Come meet our local vendors and participate in live demonstrations; Make something for/with Mom!
11:00am Wet Felting demonstrations and Small Project for participants*– By Sarah at Bodega Pastures
12:00pm Guided Tour of Fibershed Learning Center’s Gardens
1:00pm Natural Dye demonstration with dried flowers- silk handkerchief dyeing for participants*–by Charlene Schmid at Integrity Alpacas & Fiber
2:00pm Eco Printing demonstration on Climate Beneficial Wool fabric samples for participant printing*– By Clara Pitt at Kassenhoff Growers
*Note: Participants are welcome at each demonstration event while supplies last.
