Michigan Fibershed

We are a collective of folks interested in reimagining our regional fiber systems in the state of Michigan. Our vision is rooted in Fibershed’s soil-to-soil framework, as we bring together land stewards, fiber farmers and producers, dyers, spinners, weavers, designers, fiber artists and textile wearers (everyone!). We believe that this work has the power to bring into being reimagined futures of human systems that center relationship and community care. As such, in our organizing work, we recognize and care for the intersections of sustainability, colonization, the climate crisis, and agriculture, textile, and fashion systems.
