Whether it is your brand new machine or one that has been sitting idle for a while, this class will get you excited and ready to be creative and at ease going into your next project. Hands-on practice during class builds confidence and skills. We will practice bobbin winding, threading, and study the purpose and identity of the basic presser feet. You’ll understand how to set the thread tension. I will teach you tricks to sewing straight, corners and curves. We’ll talk and practice seam allowance, stitch length and width, and various seams. When you leave class you will know exactly how to deal with “thread bunching up” and you and your sewing machine are “best friends forever”. You will finish a small gift bag in class. 4 hours.
