Drop Spindle 101

Make your own wool yarn! In this class, you will learn spinning related vocabulary, learn to spin wool on a drop spindle, and gain the skills to spin a “singles” yarn. By the time you are through with class, you will be well on your way to creating your own hand spun yarn! Cost: $45

Prerequisites: no previous experience required.

Provided Materials: 2 oz Blue Faced Leicester wool fiber
Required Materials: Schacht medium-sized top-whorl drop spindle (available for purchase in-store)*
