Fibershed + Seelie Studio: Sea to Soil Series
Curious about incorporating seaweed-derived materials into your creative practice? Sway has been developing packaging made with seaweed, and you’ll get to experiment with their archival materials in this unique workshop.
Textile upcycling artist and Sway film enthusiast, Mira Musank of Fafafoom Studio, will share her exploration results in using Sway film to create wearable art and be available to support your vision. Sway CEO, Julia Marsh, will also be there to answer all your seaweed-related questions.
You’ll leave with a pile of materials from Sway and advice on how to flow them into your creations.
