Explore warm shades of naturally dyed yarns during a day full of interesting discussion and hands-on experience. The workshop will be co-hosted by Brooke Sinnes of Sincere Sheep yarns and Kira Dulaney of Kira K Designs, and held at the backyard dye studio of Sincere Sheep in Napa, CA. We will dye 14 one-ounce skeins of yarn in red, orange, and yellow using natural dye extracts, dried dyestuffs, and plants that we will gather. Participants will also have the opportunity to purchase additional pre-mordanted yarn to dye.

We will meet 10-4, with an hour break for lunch. All workshop materials will be provided, but attendees are responsible for their own meals and lodging. After the workshop is over, we will have an optional field trip to Yarns on First, Napa’s local yarn store, with a 10% discount for our group.
