Join us for an afternoon in Shiloh Regional Park— as we come to know this region and the plants that grow here. Along with our walk, we will identify dye and medicinal plants throughout the region and gently gather materials to work with as a source for natural dye. We will share in lovely foraged tea and prepare a natural dye bath that reflects the beauty of the place. Each participant will dye their own scarf made of silk, and come away with the knowledge of how to reproduce this process at home. Come prepared with layers, comfortable walking shoes, water, clothes and an apron you are comfortable getting messy in.
