In April, we focus on natural handwoven textiles for the baby. All projects in this series will be made using 100% cotton. Arguably the most important textile fiber, cotton is soft, absorbent, light, vegan and naturally hypoallergenic. Take classes in this series to make cloths for your own baby or to give to a special, expecting mother.

First in the series is the blanket. It is such a special object, for other than our mother’s skin, our first contact in life was with a cloth blanket. Weavers in this workshop can choose between making a receiving or baby blanket.
