Join us at the beautiful Fibershed Learning Center on Black Mountain Ranch near Point Reyes Station, CA to stitch and finish your own vegetable-tanned leather clutch with instructor Teale Thompson.

Class will begin with a short intro to leatherwork, pattern making and cutting. Students will learn to mark, punch and saddle stitch their bags. Students will also learn to set a rivet and button closure. We will go over how to finish your edges for a clean professional look. Each student will leave with a beautiful vegetable tanned leather clutch.

Instruction will predominantly take place during the first half of the class, with the last 1 hour reserved as extra time for finishing projects.

Participants must bring: any personal snacks, lunch and beverages. Coffee and tea will be provided.

Instructor Bio:

Teale Thompson is a multidisciplinary artist, living and working in West Marin. She is the owner of Wilder Ca, a leather goods company, made to bring beauty and intention into the things people touch most everyday.

Cancellation Policy: Refunds (minus Eventbrite fees) are available up to 7 days before the event. If you cancel after 7 days before the event, we are unable to provide refunds unless we can fill your space from the waitlist. (**Please note that this is not common.**)
If someone is waitlisted and is able to purchase your space, we will refund your ticket, minus the Eventbrite fees. Otherwise, there will be no refunds. You are also welcome to transfer your ticket to someone who wishes to purchase it directly from you, or let us know if someone is coming in lieu of your name.
