ZOOM Knitting (By Donation)

April 11 @ 10:30 am - 12:30 pm

Event Navigation

During this tough time, we all need something to keep us relaxed, sane and productive. I want to make this class available to those who may not otherwise be able to, therefore this class is by donation! Sign up for free and when the class is over, the instructor will e-mail a link to make a donation – whatever you can or want to pay!

This is an online class, where we will be using the platform Zoom. Please download and test BEFORE the class so we can start promptly!

Hey there new knitter! This class is the perfect introduction for the brand new knitter, or a great way to refresh the basics. We focus on casting on, the knit stitch and binding off. Receive a pattern for a pair of fingerless gloves when you purchase a kit that includes yarn, needles and pattern.

If you purchase a materials kit, an e-mail will be sent to you to chose your color and get your mailing address. Please purchase this no later than 3 business days before the start of the class to allow enough time for shipping.

The provided materials kit includes quality, hand dyed wool yarn, wooden knitting needles, and a pattern.

Materials Needed: Access to a computer with internet. Download Zoom. Size US 9 wooden knitting needles, Worsted Weight (#4) Yarn – preferably a smooth, light colored Wool. (Cotton and Acrylic are very hard to work with as a beginner.)

Ages: 10+ Skill; Requirements: None; Taught by: Alisha Reyes
