This workshop will teach participants about plant-based dyes and regionally sourced, ethical textile systems. Participants will harvest their own plants at CGF to create dyes that will be  extracted from the source plant material. The dyes made at this workshop will be used at the Dying with Regional Plants workshop.

This workshop builds off of the Harvest Dye Materials workshop. Participants will work with the dyes made at that workshop and will learn how to prepare fibers for dying, how to change the PH of the dye in order to alter plant colors, and will experiment with dyeing a variety of natural fibers.
