In 2017, Paigelynn Trotter began offering goat grazing services in collaboration with other livestock owners. Five years later, the business evolved into a family run outfit named Coastal Land and Livestock. Coastal migrates between Petaluma and Willits, CA with their herd of cashmere goats implementing adaptive grazing strategies based on the lands seasonal vegetation needs. Coastal collaborates with land and livestock owners to create symbiotic long lasting relationships.
