Amy Skezas practices permaculture on 9 acres in Sonoma County with her husband Peter, a small flock of miniature sheep (Ouessant/Shetland/Icelandic blends), Nigerian Dwarf goats, chickens, bees, native plants, fruit and nut trees, a perennial vegetable garden, and Great Pyr livestock guardian dogs. Amy received a 2017 Healthy Soils Initiatives grant to install woody cover and apply compost 2018-2020 on one acre in rotational grazing paddocks.
