Soren Dawson (he/him) embraces all aspects of slow textile production at a human scale. The root of this work is commitment to the land and community he’s been privileged to be planted in on unceded Coast Miwok land, and the conviction that when we make things we have a wonderful opportunity to make a piece of the world we dream of.

Soren is a gardener, dyer, spinner, weaver, knitter, crocheter, basket maker, teacher, and lifelong student. In addition to dye plants he grows native fiber plants including stinging nettle (Urtica gracilis) and dogbane (Apocynum cannabinum). He sources wool from small farms, individuals, and families throughout Northern California, but mainly within Marin and Sonoma counties.
