Stillwater Farms

At Stillwater Homestead, located in beautiful Shasta County, we began raising Jacob sheep in 2019 for both fiber and meat, carefully selecting our animals for their premium wool and quality.

Our small flock includes two-horned and four-horned sheep, and we use rotational grazing to ensure the health of both our animals and the land. We are in the process of getting our herd registered.

The wool from our sheep is hand-sorted for texture and color. We sell it raw with plans to start sending it to a mill or fiber artist for spinning into high-quality yarns. Long-term plan is to do the fiber processing here on the farm. We offer raw fleeces for fiber artists, with each year’s wool crop resulting in unique, artisanal products.

In addition to offering our farm-produced wool from our Jacob Sheep, we also provide ethically raised quality animals for pets, show, farming and meat. We specialize in New Zealand, Mini Rex, and Tamuk rabbits, Boer goats and Kune Kune pigs.
