Sarah Monroy is a Mayan Kaqchikel weaver, natural dyer, and artist. Her work seeks to highlight and preserve ancestral fiber art traditions. She teaches Mayan backstrap loom weaving and natural dyeing, including resist dyeing used in traditional Mayan clothing.
