Hanna Chort, The Wool Witch
Hanna Chort is a fiber artist, natural dyer, and weaver based in Sonoma County. Through her business, The Wool Witch, she creates handwoven wool rugs, naturally dyed textiles, and botanical color studies using flowers, leaves, and plants grown and gathered locally. Her work celebrates the ancient relationship between plants, fiber, and craft, transforming seasonal harvests into lasting color.
Inspired by traditional textile arts and the rhythms of the natural world, Hanna is passionate about sharing the magic and science of natural dyeing with others.
