Join us, at Windrush Farm, and let’s create adorable felted animal masks together!
Kathy Brooks will teach you how to make a beautiful face-fitting wool mask. You will start by making a base by wet felting a batt to create a flat felt mat. Then, with felting needles, you will fill out the contours of the surface to make an animal of your choice. Examples of different masks will be provided.
All materials included: roving in natural colors, two felting needles, a head form, an elastic strap, and a felting base.

About the Instructor and Windrush Farm:
This class will be taught at Windrush Farm by Kathy Brooks, a fiber artist, knitter, weaver, and sheep owner.
Mimi Luebbermann is the owner of Windrush Farm. She moved to Chileno Valley in 1995 with the dream of living quietly on a farm. Instead, she ended up crazy about fiber and determined to create a fiber farm. Now, sheep, alpacas, llamas, goats, and rabbits all contribute to the Windrush Farm yarns. As a dedicated spinner, she works to educate people about the connection between fiber animals and yarn, through school field trips, her farmers market booth, private tours, and spinning classes to meet the animals and learn the process of transforming fleece to yarn. It is an endlessly fascinating life.
