Product spotlight: Roving Braid — A beautiful spectrum of natural colors braided together made from 3 different breeds. Black is Perendale lamb’s wool raised by a grower in Humboldt, white is Dorset cross lamb’s wool raised locally from a grower in Zamora, and brown is a donated CVM wool blend.

Valley Oak Wool Mill opened its doors in 2017 as a full service custom mill located in Woodland, California. We turn raw wool into yarn, batting, roving, and carded fluff as a professional service to our customers while also vending our retail products. Almost all of our products are the fiber’s natural colors, aside from some natural dyed yarn using local dye materials. All products can be found on our website!
